You Pullled The Trigger - Poem by Melissa Hamilton

Im not sure why, but i let it happen again. You came along i let you in. She's still in the picture while you still care as im sitting on the side wondering why its not fair. What makes her so much better than me. Is she everything i could never be? I wonder why i like you so much, but i know for sure that its all down the drain. i mean after all you've done is causedme pain. I started off as yours but now your hers. Do me a favor, dont tell me you want a 'us' while in your eyes i can tell its all jack becuase i know the truth.. you ust want her back. I won't be here forever so if this is what you had planned, grab the lever.. you played with the gun & pulled the trigger. shot me straight in the heart, who woulda figured. Im left here again trying to move on knowing deep down it wont be long till it happens again.
