Clown Walls - Poem by Cody Lee Jones

I am a window in a wall
see in and out
stuff goes in
stuff goes out
I am a wall
fall and stop
tall and strong
see it in my eyes
i give it my all
my heart
my life
my soul
I am pain
sadness hurt and anger
I am a man
no plan no life
love is no longer a smile
but a crying clowns final
here him smile and him joke
see his face and only choke
look upon his white face
feel the pain of the black
I am the window
that is upon the wall
the man with all the sadness
of a crying clown
watch him
love him
this is my final act.
