Wishing - Poem by Carolyne Euritt

Sometimes in the night
I think of what has been
and what is yet to be.

Does it frighten you
like it frightens me?

An unknown void of
endless possibilities.
A step, a whisper
and an infity more are made...

KEEP quiet
stay safe...
whisper INSIDE
HIDE your pain

and for goodness sake...
don't let the ripple from YOUR tears
cause MY heart to break...
